*AF = Aunt Flo, i.e. period
*BFN = big fat negative pregnancy test
*BFP = big fat positive pregnancy test
*CD = cycle day
*IF = infertility
*IUI = intrauterine insemination
*IVF = in vitro fertilization
*OPK = Ovulation predictor kit
*POAS = pee on a stick, i.e. take at-home pregnancy test
*RE = reproductive endocrinologist
*TTC = trying to conceive
*U/S = ultrasound
